MAPECON Factory Staff
Pesticide Safety Seminar is an 8-hour course that is offered by the National Committee on Urban Pest Control [NCUPC] for MAPECON Factory Staff which is in accordance to the Occupation, Health & Safety [OSH] requirements of the Bureau of Working Conditions of Department of Labor & Employment [DOLE], Basic Chemical/ Pesticide Safety requirement of city health offices of local government units, and Health Circular 155 S-1975 of the Department of Health [DOH].
NCUPC, a PRC accredited [Accreditation No. 2012-003] Continuing
Professional Education [CPE] Provider, is the SHE [Safety, Health &
Environment] Coordinator of licensed PCOs and CPAs.
Course
Objectives:
1.
The course intends to update MAPECON factory staff on household pesticides, their proper handling [mixing and
applying; and handling of equipment], minimize exposures, their toxicity, and
their proper storage and disposal.
2.
It also tackles on how to report
poisoning incidence/s using the proper reporting procedure.
Pesticide Safety Seminar was conducted for MAPECON factory staff held at the MAPECON Quadrangle in Malate, Manila on April 30, 2013.
This is the Pesticide Safety Seminar Course Program, and the lecturer of the course was indicated.
This was the actual training session held at the MAPECON Quarangle in Malate, Manila.
All MAPECON factory staff attended.
