Dengue Update In Metro Manila

DENGUE UPDATE IN METRO MANILA
The number of dengue cases in Metro Manila has already surpassed the 4,000-level from January to July this year with 10 deaths, the latest data released by the Department of Health (DOH) showed.






However, the 4,042 dengue cases from January 1 to July 13 was 68 percent lower compared to the same period of last year with 12,648.

"Ages of cases ranged from one month to 79 years old. Most affected was the 15 49 years age-group. Majority were male. There were ten deaths reported.


Top 3 cities in Metro Manila where dengue cases reported high are: Quezon City has the most number of cases with 957, followed by Manila City with 642 and Caloocan City with 477.
