Urban Pests Are Definitely Health Hazards!

Urban pests [such as cockroaches, flies, mosquitoes, termites and rodents] are health hazards per Department of Health Circular 155.

Rodents are of economic as well as health/ medical importance.


Crawling and flying insect-pests are of health/ medical importance.


Termites and other Wood Damaging Organisms are of economic importance.

The public must be informed about this through conducting massive Information Education Campaigns as prescribed by Department of the Interior & Local Government [DILG] Memo Circular 2003-186 as part of the Investment Plan of the Local Government Units [LGUs].
